Let me put it in a way you might be able to understand it: In the past Nowheresville had a town bus that carried 40 people at a time, then someone did the maths and found out that 40 hybrids used 1/10th the amount of fuel as 1 bus and sold the bus and bought everyone a hybrid. Does that mean the 40 hybrids are less efficient than 1 bus? No of course it doesn't and the fact that such a simple bit of logic eluded you in this case shows that your opinion has the intellectual worth of the rantings of a syphilitic baboon.
