Gmail LogoIf you want to share your snaps of the latest tour or send an important file to your colleagues, what is the best way to do it? Email attachments, right. And what if you send the message and forget to attach the file? You feel awkward. To solve this problem, a new feature has been launched i.e. ‘Forgotten Attachment Detector’.

There are a lot of features which are being worked out within the domain of Google and when the feature is ready to go, it is launched. The new feature also lies in such category.

To use the feature, you just have to the ‘Settings’ of your inbox and click on to ‘Labs’ option where you will see a list of experimental features along with the ‘Forgotten Attachment Detector’. Enable the option and start using it. After enabling the option, you can  mention to attach a file and when you do so, you will get an alert if you try to send the message without attaching a file.

Furthermore if you are fed up with selecting messages and then going to the drop down menu of ‘More Options’ to mark them as read, don’t worry because now there is a Labs feature which allows you to have ‘Mark as Read’ button. All you got to do is to enable the ‘Mark as Read Button’ option in the Labs section and you are done. Its simple and makes your life much easier.
