Gloofi: Gloofing your Web Searches

Sardar Mohkim Khan

Gloofi Gloofi comes with a shout of being the first Web 3.0 search. With this, Gloofi offers its users a more interactive semantic search.

The plan is to make your search match your needs, giving you total control of what is to make in and what has to be stopped. It combines tag, global and human search as one with semantic potential. Not just that, Gloofi comes with a deal; the more you use, the more points you get and the reward is more cash flowing into your pockets (is it bribe or paying the user for the hard effort they put up earning the points).

It’s all up to you; how you participate by submitting sites for translation, adding them or assisting in development. The site is all yours for the take but don’t expect much a it is in its alpha stage (I plainly don’t want users with their bubbles bursting).

The personalization allows you to add your own websites, be they blogs, videos or any other site of interest and combine them by creating Link Packages. How is that supposed to help you? Well when you have bundles of sites for a particular search you write for, you simply combine all the pages so they are found in an instant at the same time.

Apart from that there is a whole lot of talk about it being Global. Gloofi automatically  translates the keywords and tags into various languages, thus a search in foreign language won’t let your sit be hogged down for it provides links to translate pages.

Feel free to let people know about service, product and/or quality of the site content. So its not just search but about making you a searching critic (if such a thing exists; I wonder who cares if it doesn’t).

On the whole the site gives a pretty soothing look; unlike many alien like stuff I have seen while others appear starved of content. Let’s see if this Gloofi Alpha 1.3 stands out as a preferred user’s choice or ends up Goofing.

One important thing before I end up; developers need to do something about the Logo, it looks like some descendant of Google, they have merged the yellow and red to form orange and the direct stuffing of blue and green. I know that you can’t be creative is every aspect but this needs to get worked out else it appears (to me at least) a Google, Gloofi merger.
