Ad network Glam Media strikes off comments on being hit by the current economic crisis, yet to be on the safe, is putting its entire workforce on a “variable pay” system. Glam Media focuses mainly on the female demographic and has reported the highest revenue quarter this year. The company has not made any lay offs recently, though made some cuts in its staff before the stock market crash.
Glam Media’s management staff of 12 will be taking a temporary pay cut of 25 to 60 percent in the coming year. Whereas the functional managers will receive a 15 percent pay cut, this basically depends on the salary an employee makes, the less the salary the less the pay cut. The rest of the staff will be handed down 3 – 10 percent pay cuts.
