Get to the ‘Evite Party’ via ‘Voice Activated Text’

Shoaib Hashmi

Evite LogoEvite, is an event planning service that let users know about the details of the event(s) on their cell phone. It is a great way to get yourself updated about the latest events. Now it has included a voice activated directions service (now you have to be at the party on time, no excuses).

To use the feature, you don’t need any kind of registration or GPS, all you need to have is a cell phone. If you are a guest, you  just have to go to the Evite event details text message and click on the ‘directions’ link. Once done, the voice activated service will be launched. After that just say the start of address/intersection and get the driving directions from the service through SMS, now that is cool, isn’t it?

Have a look at the video below to easily understand how this feature works.
