Geohot has been busy recently with rumors of Rubyra1n being his next jailbreak tool for iOS 4.2.1. But there is more to add to this rumor as MuscleNerd tweeted about the next jailbreak release from Geohot will have an untethered exploit with the next release.
The only shortcoming is that the upcoming Geohot untethered exploit will only work on a select iOS devices. This news was confirmed by MuscleNerd in his reply to ipodguy79. The conversation is shared below:

Hey, so how do i click the link to test and see if my ipod is one of the ones that the IOS 4.2 JB will work for? I don’t see the link and I was wondering if the link was even posted yet.. I actually detect a whole heap of sarcasm from musclenerd in those tweets, this “ipodguy79″ essentially bad mouthed the work of dev team, musclenerd et al. And musclenerd has responded with a classy sarcastic retort. It doesn’t mean that geohot won’t come up with something, but right now we have zero evidence that he is anywhere near an untethered jailbreak for ios 4.2, I think this whole article suffers from a lack of sarcasm detection
