The Big Three: General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler were seen scrambling to plead their cases for a bailout, though after no sympathy from the media they have taken to Google’s AdWords and YouTube. Scott Monty, a global digital and multimedia communications manager at Ford states:
The auto makers in general have gotten a black eye in the media, and we didn’t feel like we were getting a fair shake.
With digital media, it lives on for a long time. It’s picked up in Google searches, people pass it along and share messages they care about with blogs and their social networks of choice

You may be able to convince some people that global warming doesn’t exist in order to sell Hummers, but you haven’t convinced me on this one. Not at all.
