Gawker is one of the biggest blog publishing houses in the world, with radically successful blogs like, Lifehacker, Gizmodo and ValleyWag. If they have taken this extreme step, this sends a negative signal to other blog publishing houses as well. Too bad for the 19 guys who were laid off though, Gawker has got some amazing editorial talent. This is sad, I would say. Gawker is one of the biggest blog publishing houses in the world, with radically successful blogs like, Lifehacker, Gizmodo and ValleyWag.
