		<description>This is sad, I would say. Gawker is one of the biggest blog publishing houses in the world, with radically successful blogs like, Lifehacker, Gizmodo and ValleyWag.

If they have taken this extreme step, this sends a negative signal to other blog publishing houses as well. Too bad for the 19 guys who were laid off though, Gawker has got some amazing editorial talent.</description>
