Virtual world software creator, Gaia Interactive has decided to reduce costs by firing 13% of its employees. The company had earlier raised $11 million in the third round. Folks at Gaia state that these have been made to conserve cash for forward strategies, which simply means that economy is bad and we can’t afford a larger workforce.
