FutureTap, the German application company has made news by acquiring an iPhone app, Where To. The app lets users find location of various points that interest you using the GPS. Founder of FutureTap explained it in his blog stating:

Where To is not just a bunch of Objective-C files. It’s a brand that’s well-established in the market and it comes with a really outstanding UI. So buying rather than making-yourself seemed like a good option.

The app has been acquired for $70,000.
