FunMobility LogoFunMobility, a Pleasanton, California based mobile startup is releasing a new content widget by the name of MoMoney. The new widget will let bloggers make money by selling the content of the mobile.

Allowing users to sell mobile phone stuff such as ring tones, photos and wallpapers, is not a new idea. A similar widget was released by StartMobile almost an year ago. You might wonder if such a widget was already available then what is the need of this one. Well, this one contains some extra features in order to attract the publishers.

The content of the widget is distributed into 20 different categories (channels) which includes travel, sports, politics, etc. It means that there will be something for everyone. For publishers it is absolutely free and they can generate revenue by either a per-click or a per-impression basis.

Currently the handset reach of the company is over 550 sets and over 250 million addressable users. Since 2001, the company has provided over 1.2 billion pieces of content.

The widget can be customized as well. Have a look at the following snap of the widget which is customized by VentureBeat.
