Sometime ago, we had a story on how you can read popular magazines online for free by issuu. Mygazines is very much like Issuu. Mygazines lets you browse, share, archive and customize unlimited magazine articles uploaded by you, the Mygazines community. The magazines are available in a flash format with pages flipping like real hardcopy magazines and zooming options to the very detail.
Apart from the fact that you cant embed magazines like Issuu lets you, the collection that Mygazines has looks better and larger then Issuu on first looks. Even the search feature of Mygazines is better then Issuu, as it lets you simply chose between searching articles or the titles of the magazines themselves, which makes it a lot easier to find exactly what you need unlike in Issuu.
The ‘Flipbook’ reader is used to view magazines, and it is very simple to use. It can be used through simple keyboard shortcuts, using only the cursor keys and ‘z’ key. The cover, contents and the individual pages can also be viewed through a single click.
Apart from the occasional papercut that you can get from a hard copy magazine, Mygazines offers you one of the best experiences of magazine reading, and that too, for free. We highly recommend Mygazines if you love reading. If you had loved Issuu, you’ll adore Mygazines even more.
