Former AOL CEO Joins Kosmix BoD
Kosmix, a vertical search engine for Health, Video Games, Finance, Travel, Politics and Autos, has beefed up its Board of Directors with the inclusion of John Miller, former CEO of AOL.
Kosmix has aggregated millions of results about Health(Basic Information, Medical Organizations, and Alternative Medicine), Video Games(Cheats and Screenshots), Finance(Mutual Funds, Taxes, and Retirement), Travel(Accomodation & Dining and Things To Do), Politics(Conservative and Liberal) and Autos(Reviews, Parts, and Blogs).
Kosmix has raised $25 million from Accel Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and some individuals like Jeff Bezos and Bill Miller. Medstory, recently acquired by Microsoft is a competitor in the Health care vertical search domain.
