Foodista, a site used a marketing tool for many food related blogs has raised $550.000 in Series A funding. The funding came from Amazon and a few other angel investors. Foodista was founded by Barnaby Dorfman who was a VP at Amazon’s A9 search engine. The site is built entirely on Amazon and relates all entries associated in a structured manner making it easier to search through.
