Flypaper, a free software is Dreamweaver for Flash content literally. The software allows users to create Rich Media Presentations, Interactive Brochures, Online Training Materials and other Fun stuff in Flash with relative ease.
Flypaper has put in a lot of effort to make the process of creating Flash Quality web content easier. The company has made available hundreds of professionally designed page templates to help speed up the task of page creation. A Flypaper page template is a pre=designed flash page that can be saved, shared and reused to create pages. In addition these features the templates could be endlessly customized and can contain elements and objects - images, video, audio, animations, timing interactions and more. Users can also create their own custom templates.
In addition to templates, Flypaper has also created a Flybrary which is a built-in library for media content.
Users can search and organize media files on their local drives and or from the web. Flypaper has direct integration with Yahoo Images, Google Images, Flickr, and Youtube in order to make media insertion a painless task. Once you find an image or video of your liking you can just drag it from the Web and drop it into you Flypaper story and that’s it, you are done with integrating the image or video into your file.
Once you are done with creating the content to your liking, you can easily share it online within minutes. Flypaper provides users with 100 MB of free hosting on Flypaper Community site to share content on the web. The hosted stories could then be embedded into social networks like MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Bebo, Orkut etc, or could be uploaded to Youtube or blogged about from any of the popular blogging platforms.
The basic version of the software is free, where as professional content designers could also get their hands dirty with a pro version. A quick tour of the software is here. See a sample Flypaper story hosted on the web, embedded below.

Bilal & Startupmeme readers,
thank you for your post. I appreciate you taking the time to review and comment. we know the product isn’t perfect yet and would love to get your input on how we can improve Flypaper. If you have any comments or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
Best,
Brandon Zeuner - bzeuner[@]flypaper[dot]com
I would love to see a better search of the existing templates on lines similar to what Images.google.com and flickr provides us. It would require extensive use of tags and some kinks at the UI end to bring this to prominence thereby re-enforcing users to tag.
not an uncommon request and we agree that this needs to improve. you are right, tagging is the way to go. another compliment is to build in content/template categorization. look for both of these to appear in an upcoming release. thanks for the feedback.
