If you thought that the story of Yahoo layoffs ended with the firing of former Right Media employees you were wrong. Today Yahoo fired a very important member of the Flickr team, George Oates. Being the one to design the Flickr interface, the most important and successful acquisitions Yahoo has made, it’s surprising why Yahoo would include her in the layoff list. She isn’t alone, there are reports of two additional members being asked to pack their stuff and leave.
