It gives you a much higher quality view of each picture as well as the slideshows, which just accents the pictures in a very good way, then what Fotoviewr provided (which was born out a user’s frustration anyway). Plus, this site also doesn’t require any registration!
You can put any Flickr users’s name at after http://www.picsviewr.com/photos/ and PicsViewr will generate the slideshow for you. You can chose from amongst 9 different slideshow themes, taken from different sources, along with ratings, demos and the capabilities they provide. You can then provide the link to anyone for their viewing pleasure. PicsViewr also provides 2 quality options, high and low, so that you can chose it depending on your bandwidth speed. But, a little feature we’d want from PicsViewr is an option to embed these slideshows in blogs and websites.. This feature will really boost its usage.
Overall, a very handy tool to display your Flickr photos to people.
You should know that Picsviewr is using existing widgets without permission, even after the creators of the widgets requested them to stop using it.
Their lack of ethics is an embarrassment.
