Firefox has hit a new milestone by grasping 20% browser market share, according to data released by Net Applications. The Open Source browser was able to make gains at the expense of IE which continues to tumble and is currently loosing market share faster than any of the 6 browsers that were compared in the report. IE has lost 4.2 points since the beginning of the year compared to 2.99 points gained by Firefox in the same time. Safari stands at 0.75 points, Opera at 0.13 points and Google’s Chrome at 0.74 points.
