Firefox wont be bundled with Windows, that’s what its architect, Mike Connor has to say. The voice was heard when the EU forced Microsoft to bundle rival browsers with its OS in a bid to break it’s monopoly of giving Windows loaded with the IE. That could very well be the reason why many still use the browser (market share that Firefox is gradually eating). Mike Connor turned this down, he was of the opinion that being bundled doesn’t harm competition, stating:
It’s asserting that bundling leads to market share. I don’t know how you can make the claim with a straight face.
So where did he say it makes no sense?
He never said that he wouldn’t do it but rather it doesn’t affect competition.
