Federated Media is heading on for some restructuring as it laid off 7 of its employees. Its founder and CEO also stated that the online ad network will also focus more on conversational marketing. FM’s marketing manager, Mathew DiPietro wasn’t much worried about FM’s performance stating that the ad network will see up to 50% growth despite predictions that the current year will be troublesome for ad markets. He also stated:
That’s not to say that we don’t do display anymore. Display advertising for a long time for us has become more and more something that we do to support conversational marketing, and kind of the other way around as well. They’re both necessary for each other.
