Palo Alto, California based FanSnap has raised $5.5 million in the second round of funding. The round was led by General Catalyst Partners. Currently in beta, the site is an event ticket search engine. The amount raised will be used to enhance the search engine and expand the team.

According to the CEO of FanSnap, Mike Janes:

Feedback from fans and partners on our beta launch has been extremely positive.

We continue to sign even more quality partners, with several more to be integrated into FanSnap very soon. Our ultimate goal is to work with every ticketing provider in the U.S.
