We know that Microsoft made an investment in Facebook, that only made sense to us from an advertising perspective. However, it seems that the deal was part of a larger and long term strategic initiative to make Facebook look and feel like windows. This would be good for both Facebook and Microsoft as users of both the platforms wont have to undergo any learning curve to use either of the platforms.

While we are making sense of things, we think that a Facebook acquisition makes more sense than a Yahoo buyout for Microsoft. Its always good to bet on a new and energetic horse than to put your good money on the old one.
