I feel proud reading about this current study, I always thought the idea to prevent users from using Facebook or other social networks. Why? Well speaking solely about myself, I need a break from my work to better concentrate on what I am paid to do and now I have this Australian Study stating that as many as 9% workers who indulge in such activity have better productivity than those who don’t. The study involved 300 workers and 70% of those engaged in workplace Internet leisure browsing. It’s author, Brent Coker stated:
Short and unobtrusive breaks, such as a quick surf of the Internet, enables the mind to rest itself, leading to a higher total net concentration for a days’ work, and as a result, increased productivity.
