Holiday season is near and we have loads of applications on Facebook coming forward to give users a chance to share gifts using the social network. Little World Gifts is another one stepping forward in the same arena. It enables Facebook users to send or share gifts using the iPhone. So what exactly you have to do to use it? You must be a user of Facebook, yes by default to begin with [if that is how I put it concisely].
There isn’t much in the offering at present as it has only a dozen or so gifts in stock. But that is just to begin with or perhaps it is easing up the task of selecting a gift for users; I bet many have a tough time making a selection if there is a huge variety. But that is just to begin with and soon enough it will have a wide array of gifts to offer on the iPhone and with Facebook being the conduit, the gifts will also be shown on your Facebook profile. The integration with Facebook Connect makes it ever more worthwhile to use along with the gifts it has to offer.
Now there are is a whole bunch of applications out there that let you send gifts on Facebook. But Little World Gifts comes out to be the first that brings Facebook Connected gifting experience to the iPhone. So how exactly should it have its sales or user base expand? I think a bit of free gifting options would help it considerably, from where on it can begin monetizing content for other gifts.
The virtual gifts have become quite popular and the popularity of each rises as holiday season approaches near. We have reported this earlier too as Christmas apps continue to soar high as the Santa Day clings nearer.
