Real time is what every major player in the Web sphere is trying to grasp. Twitter is in the lead for this but the giants in search and social networks hadn’t been quite efficient with this but Facebook is making the move as it pushes its search service. This had been in test for quite a while and will make it a prominent name in the real time search business. It will enable users to perform searches and the results would include the statuses of users as well, apart from the profiles, photos, etc. To be honest Twitter’s real time search has been eyed by many across the web as it has the potential to be quite profitable, which is something the micromessaging service hasn’t made use of. But with Facebook it’s going to be a different case, given how it has made good use of its name online (lets forget the bad things associated to terms of use and privacy).
