Facebook is rolling heading over heels, blasting out those updates at lightening fast speeds. We have been reporting on Facebook embracing the Meebo into its network and readily accepting OpenID, today it made another one; opening status updates. This is going to be a major decision to push Facebook further up the social networks shares (it’s already 20% more than MySpace). Plus this is going to bring in loads of tools from developers, so is Facebook planning to go after Twitter?
