Facebook rolls out its iPhone Application

Facebook’s iPhone application is a splashing app that has blended several messaging features into an outstanding and promising service. The newly launched app facilitates its users with Instant messaging functionality. It has integrated Facebook IM service and has hell lot of features that will be a boon to iPhone and Facebook users.

The new app brings versatility to your Facebook-ing  through a iPhone- Facebook Chat feature. Without paying a single penny, you can check your friends’ status and chat with them with high degree of mobility.

Through Facebook iPhone app, users can get access to multiple technologies rather then multiple sites making it much faster and reliable access to your Facebook friends, photos and messages. For eg: You can instantly upload pictures in your Facebook Mobile Upload album by taking it from your own iPhone camera.

Facebook is discovering new dimensions of social networking. As defined by Facebook’s Joe Hewitt, the company is looking forward to enhance new iPhone app’s functions by letting users to opt-in to share their locations and discover nearby friends .Facebook is also developing several other features that will be available in the coming months.

Along with iPhone 3G, the app is compatible with the original iPhone and iPod touch also. Users can download it from Apple’s App store.

It is worthy to note that Facebook has been offering an iPod app that attracted more then 1.5 million of users. And therefore folks at Facebook decided to take it one step further and developed this new app.

This is not the only addition in iPod’s growing list of apps. Twitter’s Twitterrific is also out to boon iPhone-iacs. As pointed by VentureBeat, Facebook has already got some traces of Twitter as it continues to steal some twitter-ish features with slight changes. Another mobile social  network app MySpace has been rolled out to boast social networking via iPhones. As difference between these three social network apps is negligible, it is yet to be seen as who will be able to rule social network for a long pace of time.
