Facebook launched its News Feed couple of years back and since then this is the first time when the social network is releasing major update for its News Feed. The ‘News Feed Filters’ tab has been introduced. The tab which is now live on the new redesigned Facebook, was discussed by Mark Zuckerberg at the f8 Developers Conference.
The News Feed Filters lets you view a uniform story i.e. single sort of story. These filters are actually tabs that appears at the top of the News Feed. It is an efficient way to use the stories of the feed.

Right now the feed filters contains the following:

Top Stories
-
Status Updates
-
Photos
-
Posted Items
The above mentioned Feed filters allows you to filter the story of your friends the way you want. ‘All Stories’ tab was displayed by Mark Zuckerberg at the f8. He described the view as ‘a log of everything’ of your friend’s activities.
We hope that these changes will affect the News Feed filter positively.
