Social networking site Facebook has announced that they have 120 million users registered as members. The number of active users which were around 90 million in early July, has increased 30 million since then. This was stated by Chief Operating Officer of Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg:
We got more (members) in the last three months than in the first three years of our existence.
She also said that the social network now contains over 280,000 apps. On the current deal with Salesforce.com, she said:
By coming together with Force.com, we believe we are about to unleash the potential for productivity in network applications for our users.

How many after all the dead profiles, and those with multiple profiles and wierd false names are taken out.
