Pictures should be visible, especially when photography enthusiasts make so much efforts to capture the most inspiring moments and users want to see them bigger. Well yesterday the social network did make the move and pushed the image resolution to 720 pixels. Now we are talking more detail!
I did notice bigger pictures when I recently updated my photo album, the image size appeared much larger than. But the only issue here is that the new size will only be for the new pictures you upload to now. Meaning all your previous photos will remain fixed at the older 604 resolution. Other than that those of you who upload images from other methods, like mobile applications, etc will still have to bear with the smaller resolution. Hope that doesn’t remain so for long as many uploads do happen from user’s mobile devices and on the go.
