I guess we can all predict the the traffic stats for Facebook, at least as long as something really bad doesn’t stop it from growing. I mean like Zuckerberg bragging about Facebook users to go public with their information. Coming over to the stats for December 2009, Compete puts Facebook’s traffic at over 132 Million unique visitors, rising from 128 Million back in November.

Now this just another milestone to add to the already numerous it has achieved in the recent past. Beginning from the massive user base that continues to grow all the way to developers of apps churning a lot of revenue to Facebook being the most search term on Google. The social network is far more superior that Twitter: almost six times that of Twitter in the US alone. Now that by no mean means that the two are comparable in anyway. Given that there is so much more you can do on Facebook without actually feeling the need to shorten links on other pages, etc.

There are various other aspects you can look into that stand as a proof. However one thing might come to confuse users. The stats from comScore and Quantcast show the numbers to be way lower than those from Compete. Their numbers as of November, 2009 put the unique visits at around 100 Million, while Compete reported 128 Million and the Facebook Advertiser tool show 103 Million for December compared to Compete’s 132 Million for the same month. The difference is primarily due to the fact that Compete counts use of Facebook in every manner, be it from the site directly or using the ever growing Facebook Facebook Connect. Whatever way you put and whatever analytics you use, Facebook continues to boost its way through success, without any competition whatsoever.
