One of the most effective ways to stay updated about the relevant conversations on Facebook is through email notifications. These email notifications inform users about the comments made on the posts that the users have created or commented on. If it weren’t for these notifications, users might have forgot to check back on there content sooner, than is necessary.
The comment notifications on facebook content such as status updates, photos, videos and Wall posts – allows users to up-to-date about their Facebook friends’ activities without being logged in, while being on the go.
This was just one piece of the puzzle. As of this day, Facebook didnt provided any way to participate in these conversations. This is about to change, Facebook has released a new feature that allows users to participate in the conversations by replying directly to these email notifications. So the next time you get an email notification about a Facebook comment, you can just click "Reply" and start typing a comment at the top of the email. Be sure to add your reply at the top of the email. Once you are done with hit, just hit “Send” and your reply will automatically be added as a comment on Facebook.
In case you have switched off your email notifications for comments, you might want to re-consider that you switch those email notifications on once again. You can do that by going to the Account Settings page, and choosing the receive email notifications when people comment on posts and content under the Notifications tab.
