Facebook, the leading social network when it comes to young adults, makes yet another breakthrough with its launch of a voter registration application, with Rock the Vote & powered by Creedo Mobile. The app simply allows Facebook members to register their names in the voting list, online. The Rock the Vote widgets are widely being marketed on the web to initiate the online registration process.
The registration process is simplified through the online initiative, thus enabling many of us who fail to register to vote. As the Facebook apps usual routine, it even asks you to invite your friends to register as well. The app’s promotion clearly indicates that it is aiming for a certain demographic. The Voter Registration app has already signed up 3,485 people since its launch.
