There have been a lot more examples and all stand up to prove the potential of Facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg had already emphasized on the potential of the social network and in the recently concluded Web2.0 conference talked of it as an agent that can create a major difference. I wont be surprise if elections in the future will entirely be based over the Web 2.X something.
