I was feeling lucky that Facebook wasn’t sending me recommendations to link my profile to various pages. Sadly like many others I haven’t been spared as well, why would I be? I use Facebook and the social network network appears has rights to promote their features. We had been hearing of this feature for a long time and I was just waiting for the window to pop and ask me for this.
Linking profiles to the pages you like or rather might be interested in joining. Why is it so adamant at automating the process of connecting people to their likes? I mean there must be a reason why I haven’t joined or liked those pages, oh yes, Facebook is simplifying the task of bringing the food to my table, while it ensures my linking to the social network is extremely deep-rooted. You have the liberty to select these pages individually by selecting the option or if you are one of those who are trigger or click happy hit the link all option. I guess if you are really into connecting yourself to these recommendations, go for the Link Individually option, especially if you have a lot on your profile and you are sure to be connected to loads of random pages.
The recommendations are based on the entries as per your Interest, television, books, activities, etc. The more keyword rich these sections in your profile, the more pages you are recommended to link to.
