The wait for Facebook users like myself to get rid of the weird user IDs for our profiles will end in a little over 80 hours. How? Well the social network has finally grasped the importance and the need for its users to have a unique username and will let each user select a unique username. This would make it much easier for people to perform search for friends as it would only display the profile associated to the friend’s username. The option would go live on June 13 so when that goes live be very careful that you choose the best one as once you have made the choice it would not be changed or transferred.
