TokBox_logo Why is that one or way or the other Facebook whizzes up with some news that invites its users; be it some exec quitting or Andreessen joining in or introducing the mini feeds as its application? All that so soon and we thought it’s done for the time being when it has TokBox ant itself up with Facebook as had been reported first at Mashable.

TokBox is a web-based video chat tool that is free for users. The service works out by the user signing up and it generates a link that you can forward to any of your friend and enjoy a live video conversation.

TokBox Although the TokBox had previously been integrated within Facebook as a simple chat client, but the new feature lets you put up and initiate video chats without the need to browse anywhere far from your Facebook window. Once this plug-in is installed, the user is given a link beneath your friend’s name. you are at fill liberty to decide which one of them has the rights to have a video conversation with you. The display for the video conversation is neat as both the people involved in the conversation can view themselves simultaneously in the same window.

That’s not it, you have the option of having multiple video conversations at one instant; the windows open up separately. The idea of integrating itself to existing services can help TokBox to rapidly expand and provide easy access to the users. This also helps Facebook to add more value and functionality by integrating such services within it.
