According to report (TechCrunch), Facebook has finally nudged past MySpace in terms of worldwide unique visitors in light of comScore numbers released for May. The recent turnaround shows Facebook’s rapid growth with 6% improvement, taking their number to 123.9 million unique compared to MySpace’s 114.6 million (decreasing by 1 %).

It had already moved a bit past MySpace in the worldwide unique visitors rating in April, where Facebook had 116.4 million compared to MySpace’s 115.7% million and not that, MySpace lay quite low in terms of page views with 45.4 billion compared to Facebook’s 50.7 billion.

Despite such a large difference, Facebook fails in the US, which is the largest ad market; here Facebook had a mere 35.6 million against MySpace’s 73.7 million, more than twice that of Facebook. This means that there has been no improvement (at all) for Facebook in the US for May.
