Facebook has announced that Donald Graham, chairman and chief executive of The Washington Post, would be joining the board of directors of Facebook. Facebook’s board already includes Netscape founder Marc Andreessen, Jim Breyer of Accel Partners and Peter Thiel of Clarium Capital and Founders Fund.

Zuckerberg has said that:

Don Graham understands how to build and manage an organization for the long term. He has made The Washington Post Company one of the most valued and respected education and media companies while making society more open and understanding. His decision to join our board means that Facebook will benefit from this insight and experience.

With so many influential people on the Board, I would bet on Facebook’s successful exit via IPO or acquisition.
