Facebook might be having issues with links trying to phish users from the largest social network’s pond, but that won’t it from putting its Verified Apps program to practicality. The social network had been planning this for almost a year now and will be launched any time soon. With this coming, Facebook would release a revised version of its app directory, a new profile page along with a new homepage to stream any and every app you use. In order for an app to be verified, Facebook checks a variety of things which would include user ratings, number of users, etc and would give all verified apps a badge. This is pretty useful for both users and developers. For users because they can know which one of the apps is wroth spending time on and for developers because it will push them to create apps that offer quality. Oh and there are other benefits to avail using the program, which you can read here.
