Creating your avatar with Face Your Manga is a lot of fun. You can open up a picture of yours to match the avatar with it, which makes it interesting, and it’s a great possibility that you’ll be able to come up with an avatar that matches you. Once you’re satisfied with you avatar in the flash wizard based interface, you’ll have to enter you email address, and the avatar will be emailed to you. So in case you lose it, you’ll still have it in your email. From there, you can use the .jpg image anywhere on the web you want. If you love your artistic creation that much, you can order a high quality print out directly from the website for a low cost.
Although Face Your Magna could do better with more customization options as with Yahoo’s avatar creation system or Windows Live Messenger’s animated Dynamic WeeMees. But for what it is at the moment, it’s catching on very rapidly with people. Specially with Twitter users, as you’ll easily come across with Twitters who have a Face Your Manga Avatar for their display picture.
You can also rate other users avatars by going to Your Faces with the simple click and rate system. Can everyone write to info@faceyourmanga.com, it has been two weeks I have been trying to get into the site, and it is annoying me that I can’t get one when all my friends have one already.
