Online ad network, Exponential has announced that it will layoff 8% of its staff to help prepare for the worst to come. The decision comes from the obvious denting the online ad network has received in the current economic downturn and with worse anticipated for the coming year. Dilip Dasilva, CEO and co-founder confirmed the layoffs stating:
We decided to be proactive and make adjustments in anticipation of a downturn in the economy and advertising for 2009
