Google is making news more often when it comes to introducing new features and presently it has put out a new gadget for recommendation. This lets sites using Google Friend Connect to know what visitors on their site like best. The gadget can be created using the Google Friend Connect page and then embed the code in their own sites. With this embedded, users can recommend anything from an entire post to the photos on the site. How is this going to be useful? Well it would help visitors as well as publishers know what is most popular in the site. Plus this would also be useful to bring your age old posts back to the surface if any visitors likes and recommends it. Is Google planning to or testing it’s very own recommendation engine on a very small level?
