eMusic the online subscription based music download service just crossed the 250 million download mark for songs. The service that charges $12 to $25 a month and enables users to download 30 to 75 songs has been doing pretty well since its launch in 2003. Users can download more songs by $0.25 for every additional song they download. The company estimates this years sale to touch $70 million from its 400,000 subscribers.
