Egypt’s communications infrastructure has been paralyzed due to the fact that three Internet cables running through the Mediterranean were cut Friday morning, according to AP. This has resulted in an almost complete Internet black out in Egypt, with Yemen and Sudan also experiencing phone and Internet difficulties. Egypt’s communications ministry has said that it will take several days to repair the cables and is trying to find an alternative route for Egypt’s Internet traffic.
