EduFire has raised a healthy $1.3 Million in Series A round for its online video classes. The funding came from Battery Ventures, Western Technology Investment and Gokul Rajaram the Google AdSense guru. The startup begun as a one on one language training portal before it grew further to offer classes online for subjects catering to technology and test preparation. At present it has more than 30,000 students being taught by 5,000 teachers with plans of further expanding its reach.
