It seems that the economic crisis has hit every market, whether it be the market catering to adult content on cellphones. Most carriers in the U.S. keep adult content off of their services however it is prevalent in Europe and parts of Latin America. There’s a drop of 3.5% in the mobile adult service market as it hits $2.2 billion worldwide this year. Though Juniper Research also finds:

I find the article’s lack of evidence surprising. As a major player in the mobile porn industry, I can say that this year has been a record year and technologies will only get better!

As someone who has an adult mobile site, I find it interesting that there is a claim that the mobile porn industry is down 3.5%. My site is doing better than ever, with more and more users signing up daily, to make this a bumper year. Mobile Porn is out there and its making good money.

I would think that 3.5% is within the margin of error for such a large number of $2.2 billion – either way I would hardly call that “in a spin”. Very misleading headline.
