eBay has loaded off Skype but the ecommerce site is not holding itself back. Today it announced the launch of its iPhone app which is called Deals. That’s not all, it has also updated its existing app for the iPhone and iPod Touch and the reason to power its mobile offering is definitely the financial aspect. According to eBay’s own estimates the sales on its mobile site will cross over $500 Million as the year comes to an end. Its app has already been downloaded more that 5 million times, across 77 countries, which isn’t surprising given that it really makes the user experience worth all the time spent. You can download its existing app here and Deals app here.
