It is happening finally, eBay has agreed to sell 65% stakes of Skype for a healthy $1.9 Billion. The virtual phone service has been sold to a group of investors led by Silver Lake for Skype’s valuation at $2.75 Billion. Other investors included Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures and the buyout will be in cash value and will be closed in the fourth quarter.
