EarthScape launched its version of the globe for your iPhone a few months back. The application lets you view locations on earth, giving your precise location based on GPS coordinates as well as highlighting then with Wikipedia entries. The application had been up at the Store for $10 for quite some time but the pricing has been taken off to make it free for some time.
What Earthscape does is offer the entire globe on your iPhone, quite like Google Earth but it differs as Earthscape has created its own virtual word for you to see places and tag them with images, texts etc. I guess users must have been eying to get their hands at this one for, that too for free. A great software for your iPhone!
